Our leadership team is seasoned and industry-savvy. Each person has decades of experience in the Federal Government, Intelligence and/or defense sectors. They have led large initiatives as Government directors and/or private sector managers. Through dedication and know how, they are able to recognize and realize customer needs. Chuck Ellis, PMP – Vice President of Enterprise Technology Engineering
- 23 years of IT experience, including 12 years managing projects for the Departments of Defense, Labor, Treasury, Housing and Urban Development, Commerce, and Homeland Security, realizing measurable cost and schedule efficiencies
- Oversees Powertek’s IT operations, data center management, cyber security, and service desk contracts
- Successfully implements change control, risk management, process improvement, customer management and end-user communications
- Led multiple CMMI ML2 and ML3 assessments for Powertek and customer organizations
Sean Patrick, PMP, CISSP, ITIL Expert, Cloud+ – IT Director
- 33-year IT career, former senior US Air Force Cyber Officer
- Plans, designs, develops, and implements cost-effective solutions to Federal customer enterprise IT and network environments
- As Chief Technology Officer for the Air Force National Capital Region Information Technology Services contract, establishes technical vision, innovation, and initiatives to anticipate and implement technology advances
- Led successful transition of 50-person contract providing enterprise-level software development, cybersecurity, SharePoint, and infrastructure services while identifying and implementing immediate cost-saving measures
Michael Murray, PMP, ITIL – Director, Software and Data Engineering
- 30-year history of successful IT engagements, including over 10 years managing enterprise contracts valued at over $50M per year
- Directs Powertek’s software development contracts with the Defense Technical Information Center, the Departments of Labor and Homeland Security, and the General Services Administration
- Recognized for implementing enterprise-wide improvements that increase productivity while reducing costs
- Possesses a proven combination of management depth and hands-on experience in the Agile methodology, project life cycle methodologies, data center/infrastructure operation, and cloud computing

Powertek's Board of Advisors provides direction and advice to our leadership team to support implementation of our vision. They guide Powertek in fulfilling our mission statement and help us set policies and objectives. They keep us in check and make sure that we provide our personnel, business partners, and customers with the best possible services and solutions.
Our Advisors are industry veterans with extensive understanding of the Federal and Defense market sectors. They are recognized as being the best in their fields. - Current Vice President for Cyber Security Operations Services for BlackBerry Corporation, leading FedRAMP compliance initiatives and a U.S.-based Cyber Security Operations Center.
- Executive Director, Commonwealth of Virginia Cyber Commission.
- Expertise includes cyber security strategy development and operation, incident and disaster response communications/IT systems, and electronics systems portfolio management.
